Dear Friends and Family
Thank you for making our first Fundraising Gala a success. As you know in Laos the lives of many ill people are severely limited and lost everyday due to an underdeveloped healthcare system, lack of health education, and inability to afford medical treatment. Your generous contribution along with dedicated volunteers, we can change this situation and provide much needed assistance to the people of Laos.
Our non-profit charitable organization, Health Enhancement for Laotian People (HELP), is the first initiative of its kind in Laos with the mission of integrating mental healthcare into the country´ s primary healthcare system. While still in its early stages, HELP and its volunteers have been actively in improving the physical and mental well being of Laotians, including every ethnic group in the country, through developing health training services on the professional level. This is only the beginning.
Current plans of the HELP organization include a mobile team treatment to reach Laotians who otherwise would not be able to obtain mental healthcare, especially important in rural areas; recruit more volunteers to share their medical expertise with their Laotian colleagues; and facilitate the long term development of a psychiatric residency program in Laos.
You have the power to positively impact the quality of healthcare for the people in Laos and to bring mental healthcare to those in need. Your contributions will go directly to help the patients in Laos. The Night Began..

Dr. Florin presented the Lao Association of RI with a Certificate of Appreciation. |
Dr. Thikeo presented Certificate of Appreciation to Lao Women Association of RI. |
Dr. Florin presented HELP plan and vision. |
Dr. Thikeo presented in Lao Language. |
All guests listened intensively and intelligently evaluated the presentation as both speakers spoke. |
Then the music began and everyone danced the night away..
